Getting around: The best way to get around is by renting a scooter or by hiring a Tuk-Tuk (which we can arrange for you). There are also frequent public buses that run to Hiriketiya, Dikwella and Matara.
The village කළුකැටිය
Kaluketiya (aka Maaliyadda) is a working fishing village on Sri Lanka’s south coast. Small shops, fresh bread tuk-tuks, and local food are all within walking distance. Quiet beaches, a nearby temple, and space to slow down come naturally here. It’s simple, local, and refreshingly untouched.
